Oh, no, that’s so terrible x_x
Yeah, in the (admittedly incredibly unlikely) event that Gary gets nominated for another Oscar this year, we’ll definitely post about it XD
The nominations for this year’s Oscars won’t be out until January 10, but it’s highly doubtful that he’ll be nominated this year.
Gary was nominated last year, for the 2012 Oscars.
Stupidly I didn’t save the source from where I got most of that, and for the life of me I have not been able to find it again (I initially found it while Googling details on the whole mess in the wee hours of the morning well over a year ago; it was mostly accounts from friends and family of Gary, and his manager and best friend Doug Urbanski), but a lot of it is public record, from the reports that came out when they were going through the divorce and custody proceedings.
If I can ever find the original article I got most of that from, I will definitely update that post with a link.

Oh, believe me, I’m aware of the Gary imposters out there. There was one who was even posting on Alex’s Facebook for a while, which was even creepier.
It’s in the sidebar, but it bears reiterating: Gary does NOT use any form of social networking (Facebook, Twitter, etc), and anybody who says they’re him is lying.
