Dame Barbara Hay, the British Consul General opened the doors of her Residence to host a tea party to celebrate the career of Gary Oldman.  Partnering with the British Film Commission and Focus Features, friends and industry colleagues came together to pay their tributes and wish Oldman luck in the awards season (he has drawn raves for his recent performance as George Smiley in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy). Guests included actors Dominic Monaghan, Timothy Dalton, James Cromwell, David O’Hara, Frances Fisher as well as director Michael Apted, producer Nigel Sinclair and Jane Evans from Focus Features.
